5 years ago today, Bored Aussie was launched.
so we've unveiled a new website to celebrate (our first new one since 2006). The new website includes a:- Complete redesign.
- Redesigned and more efficient ladders (thanks to Lloydy and Shibby)
- Web ladder for the InHouse DotA League
- Articles system - since BA will be doing tournament coverage and general e-sports commentary. Props to the (now dead) Australian Gaming Network, a site which I was webmaster for in 2005, where the article system has been ripped from. A few of the old articles are still there too
- Unified navigation bar across the website and forums
Also on this 5th anniversary, Bored Aussie is announcing:
Bored Aussie-B1G League LAN tournament
In partnership with B1G League, we will be holding our first ever LAN tournament in just two weeks on Wednesday 1 July. Four top invite-only DotA teams will battle it out in a film studio at RMIT University, with the whole tournament broadcast live on the Internet. Tobi Wan Kenobi from Gamestah Radio will be flying down to Melbourne to shoutcast this landmark event. Stay tuned for further details...
